May 26, 2022 · Six Hours to Live (1932) In this off-beat sci-fi film, an outspoken diplomat is murdered during an international trade conference. This is a terrible blow for his native country because the ambassador had come to stop his country from signing a treaty that would allow their enemy to exploit them.
Warner Baxter plays a slain diplomat who is bought back to life via a scientific experiment. Trouble is, he only has six hours before the effects wears off, and he's dead for good. In that time he searches for his killer. Eerie, slow film has the feel of "Dracula" (1931).
