João Pedro Cavaco Cancelo (born 27 May 1994) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a full-back for Premier League club Manchester City and the Portugal national team. After coming through Benfica's youth academy, Cancelo began playing for the club's reserve team in 2012 and was promoted to the first team two years later.
