Walter Edward Cox (born March 29, 1948), known professionally as Bud Cort, is an American actor known for his unorthodox starring roles in Robert Altman's Brewster McCloud (1970) and Hal Ashby's Harold and Maude (1971).
Bud Cort is an American actor, director, writer, and singer who starred in cult classics like Harold and Maude and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. He also appeared in films by Robert Altman, Milos Forman, Wes Anderson, and Kevin Smith, and co-founded the LA Classic Theatre Works.
