Sep 19, 2021 · RIP Mara Maryl (1939 - 2021) It saddens me greatly to have to report the passing of MARA MARYL, the talented comedienne, actress, and muse of her husband, the prolific screenwriter Ernesto Gastaldi.
After marrying screenwriter Ernesto Gastaldi in 1960, she adopted the names Mara Maryl (for acting) and Maria Chianetta (for writing credits); usually only appearing in films her husband directed. More details at TMDb
