Percy Newbold "Peter" Coe (27 September 1919 – 9 August 2008) was a British athletics coach, author, translator and coach of his son Sebastian Coe.

Peter Coe was a pioneer of biomechanics and physiology in athletics, who turned his son Sebastian into a world-record-breaking, Olympic gold-winning middle-distance runner. He survived a torpedo attack in the Second World War and remained close to his son until his death in Beijing in 2008.
