Mårten Olof Palme (born 31 October 1961) is a Swedish economist focusing on labor economics. He is a professor of economics at Stockholm University.
Mårten Palme is an Associate Professor at Stockholm University, previously at the Stockholm School of Economics, and a Research Fellow at the IFS. He has done research on income inequality, earnings mobility, returns to education as well as the effect of income taxes and income security systems on labour market behaviour.
