Marcus Cook Connelly [citation needed] (December 13, 1890 – December 21, 1980) was an American playwright, director, producer, performer, and lyricist. He was a key member of the Algonquin Round Table , and received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1930.

Biography: Marc Connelly was an American playwright and screenwriter. He was a member of the Algonquin Round Table alongside Dorothy Parker, Harold Ross, and Alexander Woollcott. Connelly began his career as a journalist, but soon turned to writing plays.
