Jason Andrew Dawe (born 4 May 1967) is an English journalist and television presenter. Brought up in Cornwall, Dawe worked at car dealerships and as a motoring industry trainer; he had been a long-time columnist of the motoring section of The Sunday Times.
Dawe’s role in Series 1 mostly revolved around discussing used cars and what to look for, plus tips on how to get the best deals on new cars. Dawe once famously admitted to “buying £900 cars and driving them until they died” – at which point he’d simply buy another one and repeat the process.
