Benoît Jacquot (French: [bənwa ʒako]; born 5 February 1947) is a French film director and screenwriter who has had a varied career in European cinema. In July 2024, Jacquot was charged with rape, including of a minor, and was barred from directing and having contact with minors.

French director Benoît Jacquot made his Royal Opera debut in 2004 directing Werther. Jacquot began his career as an assistant director in films by Marguerite Duras, including Nathalie Granger (1972) and India Song (1975).
Benoît Jacquot is a French filmmaker who has directed and written films such as Farewell, My Queen, The School of Flesh and À Tout de Suite. He was born in Paris in 1947 and has also acted in some of his own and other films.
