Christian Schwochow (German: [ˈkʁɪsti̯a(ː)n ˈʃvɔxoː]; born 23 September 1978) is a German film director. He has directed more than ten films since 2005, including TV movie Open the Wall on the ARD channel, a tragicomedy about the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Christian Schwochow was born on 23 September 1978 in Bergen auf Rügen, East Germany. He is a director and producer, known for Cracks in the Shell (2011), Novemberkind (2008) and Munich: The Edge of War (2021).

Munich – The Edge of War is a 2021 period spy thriller film directed by Christian Schwochow, from a screenplay by Ben Power. It is based upon the 2017 novel Munich by Robert Harris. The film stars Jeremy Irons, George MacKay and Jannis Niewöhner.
Christian Schwochow wuchs in Leipzig und Ost-Berlin, seit 1990 in Hannover auf. Er ist Sohn der deutschen Drehbuchautorin Heide Schwochow. Schon als Kind wirkte er in vielen Hörspielproduktionen des Rundfunks der DDR mit. Als Jugendlicher wurde er Herausgeber und Chefredakteur des niedersächsischen Jugendmagazins Shot!.
