Ladislaus Vajda (born Lipót Weisz; 18 August 1877 – 10 March 1933) was a Hungarian screenwriter. [1] He wrote for 40 films in Hungary, Austria and Germany between 1916 and 1932. He was born in Eger, Northern Hungary and died in Berlin, Germany. He was the father of Hungarian film director Ladislao Vajda.

Ladislao Vajda was born on 18 August 1906 in Budapest, Austria-Hungary [now Hungary]. He was a director and writer, known for It Happened in Broad Daylight (1958), The Miracle of Marcelino (1955) and Mi tío Jacinto (1956). He died on 25 March 1965 in Barcelona, Cataluña, Spain.
