Churchill Secondary is one of three International Baccalaureate schools (along with Britannia Secondary School and King George Secondary School) and one of three French immersion secondary schools in Vancouver. It is named after Winston Churchill, the former prime minister of the United Kingdom.

Oct 17, 2022 · Churchill Secondary School is located in south-central Vancouver at the junction of West 54th Avenue and Heather Street. First opened in 1956, the school is home to around 2000 students who list as their places of birth over 50 countries worldwide.

On entry to the school all students study the core National Curriculum subjects of English, maths; science; history; geography; RE; drama; music; art; computing (ICT); Modern Foreign Languages; technology and Physical Education (PE).
