Patrick Massett (born March 6, 1962) [1] is an American screenwriter and producer. He has worked on both the NBC drama series Friday Night Lights and the Syfy series Caprica. He often works with writing partner John Zinman.

Massett is married to Marybeth Massett, who had a guest role as Parell on the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine fifth season episode "Children of Time".
He also guest-starred in two episodes of Quantum Leap (starring Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell, with K Callan in the former and Anne Haney and Hal Landon, Jr. in the latter), and was creator and executive producer of Veritas: The Quest (2003-2004).
