The H. O. Wheeler School, constructed in 1904, is a two-story, hip roofed, U-shaped, brick structure, nine bays wide and five bays deep, rising from an ashlar-faced, redstone foundation and highlighted by elements suggesting the Colonial Revival and Romanesque styles.
