This business indicates that their "verification process maintains rigorous internal guidelines to ensure that every item meets quality standards, which means you can expect your item to arrive in perfect condition".
Jul 2, 2022 · I'm pretty confident a high majority of the shoes sold through StockX are legit. Still, that isn't to say that many fakes can't still get through, just like with any other resale site nowadays. Any site like this can pass a rep through on occasion because they’re human. The majority of the time they’re real.

Feb 11, 2019 · It was not until recently StockX was not an option for UK buyers without being hit by large import duty. Since they announce that all duty and tax was included in the purchase price, I had my eye on the Futurecraft-4D. This pair represented the best value as it wasn't that much over retail (Compared to over futurecraft models).
Jan 2, 2023 · I’ve been burned bad by stock-x 2 out of 3 times. I’m about done with that scam company. Idk if it’s just the Detroit location, but I’ve been totally screwed on two shoes that I originally purchased from them!!
Jun 12, 2022 · For the service and the authentication, StockX takes about 12-15% of the sale as their costs, depending on your seller level. If you sell more, you level up and your fees go down a little bit. So, they don't sell the shoes, as much as they are the largest middleman in the sneaker game today. GOAT and eBay operate similarly.
29 votes, 108 comments. true. i ordered something 2 weeks ago. kept waiting to see it ship to stockx, then more than a week later, they had a "problem with the seller" but matched me with a new pair, and now it's still saying on route to stockx.
Oct 1, 2021 · First I've seen, honestly looks awful with that color and the new logo lol. They seriously need to start doing the same tags as ebay with the chip in it that says what shoe the tag belongs to. “We hAvE sTocK x TaGs aT hOmE”. —- the tag at home. Depends what country that stock x is from.
Sep 22, 2019 · 1. Check the font of the tag. The first thing we want to look out for in a real StockX tag is the font of the text found on the front of the coin. As we’ll point out below, there are visible differences between the authentic and the fake StockX tag. Besides, there is the generic fake tag and a better (albeit rarer) version.
Mar 6, 2019 · Stock X responded that sale is final and I can relist them on their platform. Convenient they can double dip while I take the losses. Unfortunately they have the market cornered so even though I took a loss on those sneakers, I decided to try buying another pair. It was a Jordan golf cleat drop a day before official release.
