A. Juno. It's just like normal uni in that you need to do essays (and as you've found some courses have exams). The main difference is that you really have to motivate yourself - there are optional tutorials, but they're about monthly so most of the time you are studying on your own.
Grade 2 = 70% to 84%. Grade 3 = 55% to 69%. Grade 4 = 40% to 54%. Fail = 39% or lower. And typically, to be assigned a certain grade you need to get above the threshold in both your OCAS and OES. To illustrate. In one of the first courses I took, I got an OCAS of 78% and an OES of 64%.

I am now sending an email to Open University to complain and see if this is indeed it - no refunds at all. I think when you register for a course you effectively sign a contract which states how much notice you need to give before the course starts for you to get a full refund if you cancel.
