Crystal are best gathered with a metal pick or with certain creatures; stone picks can work but provide a very low drop chance. It can be acquired by mining white crystals. White crystals are the primary source which can be mined, stalactites in caves also provide crystal.

Jun 25, 2015 · I have asked numerous times in game, but no one really has answered my question, which is, what is the best way to obtain crystals from the nodes? Pickaxe? Axe? Spear? What type of tier of them? Metal or Stone? people say they obtain around 50-70 from caves each trip, and I barely make it out with 2-8ish if I am lucky, any help would be great :)

Next craft yourself 2 refining forges, 2 fabricators, and 2 mortar and pestles (depends how many spots you want to farm) .
