KLM has released its S24 timetable with the following changes for European services: - KLM increases AMS-BLL from 5x to 6x daily. - AMS-SVG is also increasing from 5x to 6x daily. - AMS-CDG is reducing from 6x to 3x daily on KLM metal, but increasing from 6x to 9x daily AF metal.

Especially KLM /TD was at that point in time entirely based on Douglas/ Boeing procedures/support and was not very happy with this aircraft type.
Dec 6, 2017 · This mid-1960's livery is iconic for KLM and featered on the Lockheed Electra, all DC9s, all DC8s. This livery had the white roof, the striped tail, plus white globe and KLM logo. In prepration for the arrival of the B747-206B in 1971, KLM decided to modify its livery slightly.
May 27, 2001 · BY B747-437B - Mon May 28, 2001 2:21 am. The KLM aircraft lost the #4 engine in the impact causing a fuel leak that ignited. The aircraft was consumed in flames and most passengers died from smoke inhalation and the fire, rather than from the actual impact with the runway.
