I have a large music library on a Synology NAS, with several thousand MP3s with embedded album art.
Also fastboot has no factory reset option like most phones have. It would be one thing if you just just buy a good charger/cable/battery to fix it. I had to send my phone in to get factory reset because I tried to change the DSU and that went terribly wrong. I got stuck in a fastboot loop with no course of action.
