If you forgot your user code, there are two options: 1. Add new user codes. For detailed instructions on how to add new user codes, please reference page 3 of the installation guide. 2. Reset SmartCode to factory settings to clear existing user codes and add new ones. Reference last page of installation guide.
Make sure the Mastercode has not already been programmed. Attempt the procedure again, making sure to enter the same new Mastercode in step 2 and 4. Make sure switch #3 is on, and press the Program button once. If you hear three beeps and see the keypad flash green, the Mastercode is enabled.
