The modified email is then sent from a fake address made to look like it's from the original sender. The attack may appear to be a resend or update of the original email.
I deleted my account some time ago (this account) to make another with the same e-mail because it was hacked and swarmed with porn posts and stuff and i didnt realize because i havent checked it for months. I deleted it but the account still exists and i can do normal stuff with it.
