Jun 25, 2023 · I dint respond, but wen i tried to login into my coinbase, it want me to install 2 step authentication with google app and qr code. the instructions for the set up were so long to read, i kept trying to login another way. Then it asked me to upload my driver license. And now my coinbase is locked for 48hrs.
Dec 27, 2023 · Suddenly can’t log into account via mobile app. This only just happened ten minutes ago. I’ve been on the app earlier today with no problem. A notice pops up that my device isn’t recognized so I went through the email verification sent, along with 2FA and yet still just remains on the notice page after clicking email link.
Feb 23, 2024 · Welcome to r/Coinbase! Lost $50k in a Coinbase phishing scam: wanted to warn others. Yesterday I had 18.8 ETH ( >$50k) stolen from my Coinbase account ( Etherscan tx ). Wanted to post in case this educates others. Edit: what u/docgravel said in the comments for other users is similar to what happened to me. 2:15PST on 2/23: I got this text.
Dec 20, 2020 · Coinbase has the worst identification system I have ever found in my whole life. In addition the support stuff is a complete joke to the point of convincing me that they are sabotaging the system. At a certain point, the robot that scans documents completely garbled my name and I started receiving errors that name does not match or birthday does not match.

Apr 2, 2022 · I don't try often but haven't been able to login in a week. Wouldn't surprise me if there was a wide-net brute force attack on passwords/accounts, but could also be an issue on Coinbase's end. Havent even started buying crypto but issues like this before even buying are really making the need for an offline wallet evident.

Nov 2, 2020 · I've been informed Coinbase provides an opt-out method where you choose Other Bank and then just verify the amounts of two deposits they send to you. Thank you. I'm not giving my bank login to anyone. Even my bank knows better than to ask. Thanks for the work-around.

Aug 6, 2021 · Hi u/Tej_Bull. Thanks for reaching out. You can recover your seed phrase if you created an encrypted backup using Google Drive or iCloud. To access the backup feature, tap Settings then Recovery Phrase from your Coinbase Wallet app. Thanks! People really shouldn't be their own bank.
