Nov 6, 2013 · I performed a security wipe and am going through the set-up process to get it working on my BB-ID. When I get to the "Agreement" screen, it presents a field for country, and a "drop down". The field is blank, as is the drop down menu.
Feb 20, 2022 · Boots up fine but going through the setup routine I get stuck on the "Agreement" page. The drop down doesn't show any country. I did a bit of digging and saw suggestions to "unbrick" via the desktop software but when I try to "update" it says no update was found.
Feb 9, 2012 · If you wiped your PlayBook, you can definitely get it back up and running again in 2023! Go to the instructions in the YouTube video posted above. This will install a BB10 Dev Alpha for the PlayBook. The workaround to get past the setup screens can take a few tries of back and forth.
Mar 31, 2022 · Unfortunately all links I could still find are dead. I did a few tests on 2.1.0.1917 to get around the agreement screen but seems like it could be impossible. Here are my observations so far: I've set up a mitmproxy to look at the traffic during the setup process.
Aug 26, 2022 · I've found that by using a non-destructive autoloader (core OS only autoloader) It is possible to downgrade the PlayBook without having to set up the PlayBook from scratch. For this to work, you'll need a PlayBook running on OS 10.0.4 with the initial setup completed.
