PBS News Hour, previously stylized as PBS NewsHour, is an American evening television news program broadcast on over 350 PBS member stations since October 20, 1975. It airs seven nights a week, and is known for its in-depth coverage of issues and current events.

William Brangham (born 1968) [1] is an American journalist who is currently a correspondent, producer, and substitute anchor [2] for the PBS NewsHour. Before, he worked as a producer for several other television programs, mostly for PBS.
Desjardins joined PBS NewsHour in October 2014 as a political reporter, and in July 2015 was elevated to Political Director, appearing on camera from the studio and from the U.S. Capitol. She also writes articles for the NewsHour website. [4] Her current title on the NewsHour is Capitol Hill Correspondent.
Alcindor also appeared in the 2018 television series The Fourth Estate about Times staff covering the first 100 days of the Trump presidency. In January 2018, Alcindor was named White House correspondent of the PBS NewsHour, replacing John Yang, who was named the NewsHour's national correspondent. [5]
For much of its history, the PBS NewsHour aired only Monday through Friday, but in March 2013, plans to expand the program to include Saturday and Sunday editions were under development. Weekend editions of the NewsHour premiered on September 7, 2013, with Hari Sreenivasan serving as anchor.
While working as a freelance journalist, Sy contributed to the PBS NewsHour Weekend. In 2019, she was named anchor for PBS NewsHour West , based at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism of Arizona State University in Phoenix, and also correspondent for the PBS NewsHour .
