It is 85% for a pass 1 on a module. Bear in mind this requires an 85% average on assignments and 85% on the end of module exam. Perfect assignments and 84% on the exam gets you a pass 2. There are exceptions and a few percent leeway if grade boundaries are shifted or there were special circumstances.

Other uni grading is slightly different because they grade their papers differently to the OU. But a 3rd class is a 3rd class. Sep 2, 2019 · Average is 78.5%. It gives you a first. That's the OU. It's just contingent on meeting those very stringent boundaries. Although the OU's grading system is very odd, the lack of exams in some subjects and the insane thresholds, if you number crunch, to get a 1st/2.1/2.2 in the OU is not that different in actual fact.
Oct 10, 2017 · The former is (sometimes) possible but most brick unis won't accept second-year OU transfers. The latter is much more likely, pretty much al unis accept OU credits for first year entry, although the amount of credits you need (and at which level) will vary, so you should email admissions tutors directly and ask.
For the degree I did (Economics and Mathematics) the level three modules I did were M343 Applications of Probability (30 points) MT365 Graphs Networks and Design (30 points) M346 Linear Statistical Modelling (30 points) D319 Understanding economic behaviour (60 points) Now all were at level 3 but due to the rules only 120 points are used for L3 grading.
Jun 26, 2019 · The OU says you'll need around 32 - 36 hours per week for full time study, so let's call it 34 hours. (Which I guess is also around the minimum of what is classed as full time work, you didn't say how many hours you work though). 34 divided by 5 days a week (give you two days off, lol) is roughly 6.5 hours a day.
