Jan 4, 2022 · Jetblue has and does occasionally send the LRs on JFK-LAX and I’ve seen it staffed each time with 5 FAs in the back which is what they use for London. That being said 5 FAs is not a requirement for the staffing and the plane is certified to be sent out with the minimum crew of 3, even London can be sent with 3 FAs if needed.

And also launched a new connect the dot route with a seasonal ORH-RSW. That is a specious argument. The majority of TATL flights from LHR aren't narrowbodies.

Aug 24, 2024 · JetBlue’s supposed A320 would have 162 seats 12F 42Y+ 108Y with space flex. So yes, it would be slightly tighter than its legacy competitors but not by much. Basically the same as United, slightly tighter than Delta, and similar to what Alaska had. Also note, JetBlue’s A320s had 162 just core seats without space flex years ago. For A321ceos
Sep 26, 2024 · JetBlue has decided they can save money and attempt to make Transatlantic profitable long term by staffing with four Flight Attendants and eliminating hot meals in Core. Without the need to count, prepare and pull hot meals from the ovens, two Flight Attendants can (hypothetically) serve the entire Core cabin.

Jul 24, 2024 · Jetblue said the A220s had a 30% casm advantage over the E190s. While I do have concern over the capacity increase on many routes, it sounds like a good enough reason to me My understanding for capacity is that some routes are being reduced from 3x to 2x (sometimes paired with an A320 so seats stay the same) on routes they’re ahead, while others like JFK-BOS are just absorbing the seats.
