Oct 6, 2007 · It is even more common to use "more + adjective + -er" (more bigger). You often hear: more better = better. more worse = worse. more easy = easier. more straight = straighter. But these examples can sound a bit uneducated. "More straight" sounds OK to me (it doesn't sound foreign) although not completely correct. "Straighter" is correct.
