The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) is a drama school located in Hammersmith, London. [1] It is the oldest specialist drama school in the British Isles and a founding member of the Federation of Drama Schools. [2]
We offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses in acting, musical theatre, directing, and production & technical arts, as well as a range of short courses throughout the year. Please note: Applications for North American-based applicants will open in the autumn.

The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, in short known as LAMDA, is a conservatoire that has been training artists for over 160 years. The academy’s current home is in Baron’s Court, West London, the former home of the Royal Ballet School, where it has been situated since 2003.
