Mar 27, 2018 · It sounds like you may be in Tablet mode. To get back to Desktop mode, select the "Menu" symbol top left of the screen (three horizontal lines). Select "Settings", then "System", then "Tablet mode". Set the switch to "Off". You should now be back in Desktop mode.

If so, you are in Tablet Mode and just need to switch back to Desktop Mode: Press the Windows Key + A to open the Notification Bar. If you cannot see the Tablet Mode button, click 'Expand'.
