The SIM just turns the visual setting off in the phone to cut down on tech support calls. Very early on, I ditched my AT&T Priv, replaced with Factory version.
May 28, 2013 · Yes, Sykpe or BBM can make calls using wifi. In BBM contacts that are on Wifi will have a green phone symbol in the top right of the screen. Tap that and a Wifi call will start. If or when Wifi calling comes to the Q10, it will be on Rogers only in Canada, as they are the UMA licensee in Canada.
