Secondly, yes it gets better. Season 1 is mostly bad, but there are a few real gems in there. Season 2 is a huge step up, mostly very good with a couple worse episodes. Children of Earth (Season 3) is exceptional, genuinely amazing TV. Miracle Day (Season 4) is very good, if a little too long.
