Penistone Grammar School is one of the few state schools to have a Combined Cadet Force, a Ministry of Defence sponsored youth organisation which provides opportunities for young people from Year 8 to develop leadership, responsibility, self-reliance, resourcefulness and endurance.
Grants can also be awarded to recognise this. Potentially we can award a grant of up to £250 per student.
