Sep 17, 2023 · The movie presents a pretty realistic picture of the Camino: making friends on the trail, surprising emotional insights, the marathon mileage and great Spanish food. Worth a watch for sure. My only quibble is that they had several characters walking the Camino in jeans, which would be a most uncomfortable thing to wear while walking 25 kilometers a day.
Written by a fan who tried to imagine the characters inside the plot of a totally different comedy movie. Because the plot to El Camino is the plot to a lot of comedy movies: collect a specific amount of money to hand to a specific person to resolve a specific piece of drama. Along the way ridiculous circumstances are encountered.
