Oct 28, 2023 · @Gorock . Hi, This used to be possible on older TP-Link range extenders and older router models that supported range extender mode. Then this feature was dropped for more recent range extender models, including the TL-WA855RE.

Press and hold the reset button using a paper clip or pen and wait for at least 5 seconds or until the Device to Extender LED blinks amber. Release the Factory Reset button and wait for the extender to reboot.
