Transgender women (often shorterned to trans women) are women who were assigned male at birth. Trans women have a female gender identity and may experience gender dysphoria (distress brought upon by the discrepancy between a person's gender identity and their sex assigned at birth). [1] Gender dysphoria may be treated with gender-affirming care.

Bedgebury Forest Woman: Bedgebury Forest, Kent: A mystery woman aged between 30 and 35 was found in Bedgebury Forest on 23 October 1979, having been beaten to death. The discovery led to a murder enquiry, but she was never identified. It was thought she had come from Eastern Europe and had had one child.
