He issued two concert offerings in 2007, Live at the Turning Point (his first release for River House Records, which would become his steady label) and Live from the Streets of New York.

The harmonica comes out for the most Dylan-like song,the restrained country stroll "Lonesome Dark-Eyed Beauty" ; while icy cold piano guides the closing title song "Streets of New York". Eddy Grant's "Police on my Back" is the only cover, for Joe Strummer, with all the other songs composed by Willie Nile with seven co-written with drummer and co-producer Frankie Lee.
