A. V. Meiyappan. A.V. Meiyappam was an Indian film producer and a director. He was the founder of AVM productions. Some of the greatest movies produced by him are Vazhkai, Bahar, Kalathur Kannama and more. He was also a director for some great hit movies like Naam Iruvar, and Bhookailash. He died on 12 August, 1979, at the age of 72.
