moreSelsey lifeboat station is on the South coast in West Sussex, it is home to a Shannon all weather lifeboat along with a D class inshore boat. It is easily accessible from the A27 via the B2145. There is a bus stop outside for the 51 Stagecoach service to and from Chichester. We are open for visits Wednesday through to Monday including all weekend (CLOSED TUESDAY) 1030-16.00. we have a lift to first floor Visit Experience Room and easy access to a gantry to view the lifeboat. It is also possible for groups and organisations to book a visit to the station out of hours if it is more convenienient. We have a very knowledgeable team to make your visit experience enjoyable. We also have a very well stocked gift shop, lots of collectables for lifeboat enthusiasts as well there are beautiful gifts to give as well.2024 we will be 200 years old and commemorative souvenirs are available in the shop. Newspaper Archive for the lifetime of the station. Great fun for the whole family.less
