Accommodation includes Glamping Burrows, Gingerbread Houses, Glamping Cabins, Luxury Cottages, Camping Pods and pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes. We run as a carbon neutral business using biomass and solar heating, reed bed water treatment technology, lots of recycling, a brand new zero waste shop and energy efficient glamping units. The site has won numerous awards and continues to try to live up to the idyllic setting we occupy. Recent awards include Top 100 site 2023, a Queens Award for innovation 2020, Visit England Silver 2020, AA Campsite of the Year NW 2020. We were the only Holiday Park in Britain to make THE TIMES Cool Places to Stay list in 2019. Family Friendly and probably the greenest park in the Lake District. Our bar dates from the 16th Century and is nationally recognised as one of the coolest in England. We are open year round.
