Delivering free events, exhibitions and workshops, there is always something for the family to do when visiting Altrincham. Heritage area includes maps of the Altrincham area dating from 1876, artefacts, transport and industry area. There is also an extensive range of local history books. There are regular art exhibitions and a resident artist who would be more than happy to discuss his latest project. The free Creative area is free to use during opening hours and once a month, Art with a Heart host free Craft and Chat sessions. Finally, before leaving visit the gift shop to purchase a memento of your visit. Funds from these sales are reinvested.less
